Banff is set to get a taste of the festive season as the spectacular Georgian mansion, Duff House, officially unveils its Christmas range.
Once a family home, the grand house has played host to many a traditional Christmas - and on Wednesday 15th October, the house will once again be filled with festive cheer.
In an open evening, taking place from 6.30pm to 8pm the House’s shop will showcase a range of hand selected gifts and stocking fillers from local Scottish suppliers, making perfect presents for loved ones.
The Christmas range boasts a wide selection of food and drink products, unique gift ideas, and decorations to add the finishing touch to any home over the festive season.
Guests will have the opportunity to view a selection of gift ideas including textiles, interior accessories for the home, and decorations whilst sampling a range of festive fare on offer in exclusive tastings taking place throughout the event.
Graeme Curran, Monument Manager for Duff House, said: “We are pleased to be officially launching our festive range here at Duff House, as the pre-advent countdown begins.
“The upcoming open evening will showcase our Christmas offering including our decorations for the tree and home, as well as our festive gift and food and drink range. The event is the perfect opportunity to pick up those first few presents and taste some of the delicious fare on offer.
“Many of our products are sourced from local suppliers, as close as Huntly, from our range of teas made with Scottish herbs to best-selling whisky cake – there’s lots of choice for those looking for great gifts for any foodies in the family or additions to a Christmas table.
“Meanwhile our broader range of gifts and stocking fillers are sure to help take the headache out of present finding for the most discerning of present buyers.”
The evening will also see one lucky winner picked from a prize draw, available to enter on the night, take home a hand-packed Christmas hamper, worth £50.00, fully stocked with gifts and festive fare from the Duff House Christmas range.
Duff House’s Christmas launch evening is a drop in event taking place on Wednesday 15th October from 6.30pm – 8pm and is free to attend.
